Description

  • Schedule and perform on-site installation and preventative maintenance service work across the territory.
  • Respond to emergency service requests and complete territory repair visits.
  • Provide remote telephone assistance to customers as needed.
  • Travel on short notice to support other Field Service Engineers and cover additional U.S. regions.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicate product quality issues to the appropriate internal contacts.
  • Work closely with Territory Sales personnel and Field Applications Specialists.
  • Manage customer accounts and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and communicate sales leads, upgrades, post-instrument opportunities, and consumable needs.

Requirements

  • Proven electro-mechanical troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical and automated systems, ideally in pharmaceutical or healthcare settings.
  • Experience with liquid handling products is advantageous.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent customer-facing communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to workload and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to travel frequently, including about 50% overnight travel and travel on short notice.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally for training.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Close proximity to a major airport is a plus.
