Description

  • Provide management consultation to support employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness during scheduled hours of 10am-6pm ET.
  • Coordinate and deliver virtual critical incident response requests.
  • Complete management referral intakes and ensure appropriate placement of referred employees.
  • Provide guidance on EAP protocols to counselors working with employees.
  • Work incoming queue shifts and meet speed-to-answer service level requirements.
  • Follow up with employees, supervisors, and HR/managers to monitor compliance and share feedback.
  • Confirm required paperwork and signed releases are in place to coordinate follow-up with treatment providers and HR/managers.
  • Provide limited after-care monitoring to support employee safety and continuation of treatment.
  • Assess risk and manage individual and organizational crises through triage, safety planning, and follow-up.
  • Identify and help solve barriers or disruptions to care, and act as a subject matter expert on the customer’s benefits ecosystem and programs.

Requirements

  • LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist credential with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Independent licensure is required.
  • SAP qualification is preferred.
  • CEAP certification is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience and/or experience working with management and human resources professionals is preferred.
  • Experience in crisis management and substance use disorder (SUD) support.
  • Familiarity with employee assistance program and human services terminology and concepts.
  • EAP experience is required.
  • Experience delivering and coordinating critical incident response is required.
  • Experience working with diverse populations; bilingual ability is preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare settings and community resources.
  • Strong computer literacy and comfort adopting new technologies and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, context switch, and go above and beyond.
  • Temporary role from 5/20/26 to 9/24/26.
  • Availability to work 10am-6pm ET Monday through Friday, with location flexibility across time zones.
