Description

  • Provide in-the-moment clinical support, psychoeducation, and referrals through a clinical phone queue.
  • Use active listening, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches to support members with mental health, substance use, and family or relationship concerns.
  • Assess risk, provide crisis support, create safety plans, and follow up with high-risk members.
  • Recommend next steps based on clinical presentation and coordinate connections to Spring Health providers or external resources.
  • Support members and leaders after hours and connect them to the Global team, Management Consultation team, or Internal team as needed.
  • Document interactions professionally and communicate with members and providers by email.
  • Follow care management outreach protocols and identify barriers or disruptions to care.
  • Coordinate closely with care providers, Provider Operations, Care Support, Benefits/Billing, and Product teams to improve the member experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and trainings.
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members while maintaining confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Active LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or licensed psychologist credential.
  • Minimum 2+ years of direct clinical care experience.
  • Expertise in crisis assessment and safety planning.
  • Knowledge of crisis support, CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions.
  • Availability to work Saturday-Wednesday, 11am-7pm EST, or equivalent local time.
  • Flexibility for occasional shift changes and holidays that fall on scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to remain fully engaged and free from interruptions for the duration of the shift.
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Cultural awareness, empathy, and respect for individual identities.
  • Comfort using multiple computer platforms, learning new systems, and handling tech-related tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask and context switch.
  • Motivation to provide a high-touch member experience and go above and beyond for members.
