Description

  • Provide in-the-moment clinical support, psychoeducation, and referrals to members on a clinical phone queue.
  • Use active listening, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches to support members with mental health, substance use, and family or relationship concerns.
  • Assess risk, provide crisis support and safety planning, and follow up with high-risk members to ensure safety and connection to care.
  • Recommend appropriate next steps and coordinate referrals to Spring Health clinicians, physicians, coaches, or external resources.
  • Provide after-hours support to members and leaders and connect them with relevant internal teams.
  • Document member interactions professionally and communicate with members and providers by email.
  • Follow care management outreach protocols and use clinical judgment to identify and resolve barriers to care.
  • Collaborate with care providers, Provider Operations, Care Support, Benefits/Billing, and Product teams to improve the member experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, trainings, onboarding, and mentoring of new team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards in accordance with Spring Health policies.

Requirements

  • Active LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or licensed psychologist credential.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of direct clinical care experience.
  • Expertise in crisis assessment and safety planning.
  • Knowledge of crisis support, CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions.
  • Ability to work Friday to Tuesday, 4pm-12am EST, or the equivalent in your local time zone.
  • Flexibility for occasional shift changes and availability to work holidays that fall on scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise strong critical thinking when leadership is not present.
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong cultural awareness, empathy, and respect for individual identities.
  • Comfort using multiple computer platforms, learning new systems, multitasking, and context switching.
