Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop People Team managers while establishing accountability and decision rights.
  • Advise the Chief People Officer and senior leaders on workforce strategy, organizational planning, and operational priorities.
  • Own the multi-year People Operations strategy, operating model, resources, metrics, and service standards.
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, organizational design, performance practices, leadership development, and retention initiatives.
  • Oversee employee relations, investigations, accommodations, workforce changes, and sensitive escalations.
  • Direct HRIS, employee data, benefits support, leaves, records, reporting, and employee lifecycle operations.
  • Maintain governance for employment practices and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Build scalable People Operations infrastructure, dashboards, documentation, audits, and service-level expectations.
  • Use workforce and operational data to improve retention, manager effectiveness, service quality, and efficiency.
  • Lead process improvement, automation, systems adoption, and cross-functional change initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources, People Operations, HRBP, or related leadership experience.
  • 3+ years managing managers or leading a People Operations, HRBP, or multifunctional People Team function.
  • Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state, field-based, clinical, healthcare, laboratory, or similarly complex workforces preferred.
  • Experience influencing senior leaders and translating workforce insights into practical business strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, leaves, accommodations, wage and hour requirements, employment law, and HR documentation.
  • Experience with HRIS, People systems, benefits administration, employee data, reporting, and process improvement preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, improve workflows, establish operating rhythms, and drive accountability.
  • Sound judgment in sensitive, confidential, high-risk, and crisis-related employee matters.
  • Strong communication, coaching, stakeholder management, prioritization, problem-solving, and executive partnership skills; quarterly site travel required.

  • Base salary of $175,000–$225,000 annually.
