Description

  • Own and lead the Product and Design functions, setting strategic direction, priorities, and a high-performance culture.
  • Directly manage, coach, and develop high-performing individual contributors across Product and Design.
  • Stay hands-on with strategy, discovery, and delivery when needed to keep execution moving.
  • Own organisational design, budget planning, and headcount planning across Product and Design.
  • Partner closely with Engineering leadership to align product, design, and technical roadmap decisions.
  • Set and embed AI-augmented delivery practices across strategy, research, prototyping, design, specification, and decision-making.
  • Shape the long-term product vision and expand product strategy for enterprise customers in the US and other international markets.
  • Represent the product and technology perspective in fundraising, board discussions, investor meetings, and major partnerships.
  • Serve as an external spokesperson with enterprise customers, partners, industry events, press, and analysts.
  • Take ownership of boundary functions such as Solutions Architecture and ensure alignment with the broader go-to-market motion.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading a Product and Design organisation across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Proven ability to work as a senior partner to Engineering leadership without requiring direct line management of Engineering teams.
  • Proven experience building or transforming a product function to operate in an AI-native way.
  • Hands-on proficiency with AI tools for prototyping, research synthesis, writing, analysis, and delivery acceleration.
  • Sophisticated understanding of how AI affects B2B products, competitive dynamics, and product strategy.
  • Proven ability to directly manage, coach, and develop team members across Product and Design, including Heads of Design.
  • Comfortable getting hands-on with discovery, strategy documents, and delivery unblocking when needed.
  • Hands-on experience helping a high-growth startup scale through funding rounds and operational transition.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategy across international markets, especially the US enterprise market.
  • Comfortable operating at board and investor level with experience in fundraising narratives, due diligence, or strategic partnerships.
  • Experience owning adjacent functions such as Solutions Architecture, Technical Pre-Sales, or Implementation.
  • Deep experience building and scaling enterprise B2B SaaS products with strong commercial and stakeholder management understanding.
  • Ability to balance long-term product vision with near-term execution and commercial priorities.
  • Experience engaging executive stakeholders at enterprise customers to co-create solutions and drive retention and expansion.
  • Experience in HR technology, talent assessment, or adjacent people-tech markets is preferred.
  • Experience building products for both enterprise and mid-market segments is preferred.
  • Experience establishing or scaling a product presence in the United States, including distributed teams across time zones, is preferred.
  • Background operating as or alongside a Chief Product Officer or VP of Product in a high-growth environment is preferred.
