Description

  • Own and evolve the cross-functional incident management process for Spotify’s Ads business.
  • Serve as the central coordination point across Ads R&D, Sales, Advertiser Solutions, Business Operations, Finance, Legal, and Marketing.
  • Monitor incoming ad serving issues and identify incidents with meaningful business impact.
  • Build and improve bug intake and ticketing workflows to increase clarity, speed, and accountability.
  • Identify recurring issues and partner with Ads R&D on long-term solutions.
  • Lead internal communications during incidents and provide timely, accurate stakeholder updates.
  • Support revenue teams in mitigating revenue loss and maintaining strong client experiences.
  • Make escalation decisions based on incident severity and business impact.
  • Deliver reporting on revenue impact and incident trends to Finance and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in ad operations, product operations, sales systems, or a related role in a digital advertising environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with programmatic advertising or technical ad systems.
  • Experience with ad serving, measurement, billing, and order management systems.
  • Experience building and improving operational processes in cross-functional, fast-moving environments.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions that balance technical constraints with business priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders across teams and levels.
  • Ability to use data to inform decisions and translate complex information into clear actions.
  • Experience with incident management processes and tools such as Jira, CRM systems, or reporting platforms.
  • Experience in the Eastern Standard Time zone is required for this role.
  • Experience with incident response in advertising or platform operations is preferred.
