Description

  • Oversee and manage survey technicians and survey crews.
  • Review boundary, easement, deed, and title documents.
  • Conduct research at the town, county, and state levels.
  • Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and related materials to identify project constraints.
  • Determine the best approach to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Perform calculations of quantities and volumes.
  • Communicate daily with crew chiefs and the operations team.
  • Collaborate with drafting managers, design staff, and operations on status updates and plan revisions.
  • Address project challenges and provide progress updates to internal teams.
  • Support client growth and new revenue opportunities.

Requirements

  • Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is required.
  • Multiple state licensures are a plus.
  • Field and office experience in land surveying is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Proven track record of managing survey crews is required.
  • Proven ability to acquire new clients and generate new revenue is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to take direction, grow with the company, and work remotely is important.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required.
  • Proficiency with Quickbase for logging job statuses is a plus.

Benefits

  • Compensation of $90,000 to $150,000.
  • 95% coverage of medical and dental health benefits, with optional dependent/family enrollment at employee cost.
