Description

  • Lead the loan processing and pipeline management team across the mortgage lifecycle.
  • Manage condition clearing and documentation workflows.
  • Monitor pipeline progression and operational service levels.
  • Ensure loan files meet quality and completeness standards.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, title, valuation, and closing teams.
  • Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalations.
  • Maintain workflow controls and process documentation.
  • Drive operational efficiency and service improvements.
  • Provide leadership to the processing team and reinforce accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in non-QM residential mortgage processing.
  • Proven experience leading mortgage processing or pipeline management teams in a high-volume lending environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass, Byte, or LendingPad.
  • Strong knowledge of non-QM loan products and mortgage regulations including TRID, RESPA, TILA, and ATR/QM.
  • Experience managing loan pipelines to meet operational and closing deadlines.
  • Stable, reliable internet connection and a professional remote working setup.
  • Preferred background in non-QM residential mortgage lending.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, ownership, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience with DSCR, Bank Statement, Asset Depletion, Foreign National, ITIN, and other alternative documentation loan programs.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, reporting, and KPI tracking.
  • Understanding of title, escrow, closing, funding, income, asset, and credit analysis.
  • Experience interpreting investor overlays, underwriting guidelines, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience leading processing teams, improving workflows, and standardizing or automating processes.

Benefits

  • $70,000-$80,000 annual compensation.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Fully remote work arrangement.
  • Full-time independent contractor role.
  • Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
