Description

Contribute to the design, build, evaluation, shipping, and refinement of machine learning systems for promotional performance.
Develop hands-on ML solutions that help customers understand and optimize promotion strategies.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to make models efficient, scalable, and production-ready.
Influence technical design, architecture, and infrastructure decisions for new machine learning approaches.
Work with Data and ML Engineers to move models from research and development into production.
Implement and monitor model success metrics to evaluate performance and guide iteration.
Diagnose production issues and support system reliability.
Participate in an on-call schedule to maintain production stability.
Use online and offline experimentation strategies to test and improve model approaches.

Requirements

Experience implementing ML systems at scale in Java, Scala, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Understanding of how to bring machine learning models from research to production.
Comfort working with innovative, cutting-edge machine learning architectures.
Collaborative mindset and experience working closely with research scientists, machine learning engineers, and data engineers.
Experience optimizing machine learning models for production use cases.
Preferred experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Beam and Scio.
Preferred experience with cloud platforms such as GCP.
Exposure to causal ML models, including counterfactuals.
Experience creating model success metric dashboards, diagnosing production issues, and willingness to participate in on-call support.

Benefits

Base salary of $170,000 to $212,000 plus equity.
