Description

Own and maintain existing iOS applications.
Implement new app features and build new UI pages.
Test applications and support releases into new regions.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver high-quality iOS products.
Build end-to-end app features including networking, persistence, business logic, and UI.
Prepare and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams and navigation maps.
Analyze system and process issues and recommend improvements or new solutions.
Participate in code reviews to ensure work aligns with user stories, libraries, and architecture patterns.
Mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience developing consumer-facing iOS applications using SwiftUI.
Experience developing, delivering, and supporting native iOS applications.
Experience integrating REST APIs, push notifications, and multithreaded experiences.
Solid foundation in software engineering fundamentals, object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and iOS design patterns.
Deep understanding of multithreading, memory management, networking, caching, performance optimization, localization, and security for mobile applications.
Strong creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
Previous experience working with a remote, distributed team is beneficial.
Must be based in Latin America.
English speaker, as the working environment is English-speaking.
Preferred experience with mobile video playback and streaming technologies.
Preferred experience with reactive programming such as RxSwift or Combine.
Preferred experience with AVFoundation, CoreData, WKWebView, or TCP/IP sockets.
