Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including TTS, payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking services.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Build backend services that meet business and scalability requirements.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions with enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to new products and core platform systems that support the company’s text-to-speech offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to work efficiently from ideation through implementation and prioritize by urgency and impact.
  • Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flat organization with a high level of ownership.
