Description

Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including TTS, payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking APIs.
Own and optimize the backend API landscape for performance and maintainability.
Build backend services that support business and scalability requirements.
Collaborate on B2B solutions, including customization and integration for enterprise clients.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
Help maintain and evolve backend services across payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.

Requirements

Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required).
Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing work by urgency and impact.
Experience with Docker and containerized deployments (preferred).
Experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes (preferred).
Strong technical skills with the ability to deliver results consistently and quickly.
Solid communication skills and a strong work ethic.
