Description

  • Source new audio data and integrate it into the ingestion pipeline.
  • Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline on GCP using Terraform.
  • Collaborate with scientists to improve dataset cost, throughput, quality, and scale.
  • Work with the AI team and Speechify leadership to define the dataset roadmap.
  • Support the collection of data needed for model training operations.
  • Build and maintain high-quality datasets at petabyte scale.
  • Contribute to infrastructure, engineering, and research efforts across the data stack.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
  • Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
  • Proficiency with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
  • Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably GCP.
  • Experience with web crawlers is a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
