Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope where appropriate to enable faster customer feedback and iteration.
  • Navigate integration and user experience tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to enhance performance.
  • Build and ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Work at the intersection of product and infrastructure to improve foundational systems and user experience.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Strong systems thinking with an ability to design end-to-end simple, reliable systems.
  • Ability to work quickly, evaluate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Java experience is acceptable, though the role is centered on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to share links to a portfolio and LinkedIn when applying.
