Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope where possible to get faster customer feedback and balance integration and UX tradeoffs.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to optimize existing functionality.
  • Build faster loading and more intelligent parsing features.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Work across product and infrastructure to design clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that improve the user experience.

Requirements

  • Experience as a senior software engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong systems thinking with an end-to-end approach to design and simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, evaluate tradeoffs, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable, but the role is focused on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to provide links to a portfolio and LinkedIn when applying.
