Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope when appropriate to enable faster customer feedback and iteration.
  • Navigate integration and UX tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to enhance system performance.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Build and maintain foundational services and SDKs that support the product experience across platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a software engineer on product-facing and infrastructure-adjacent systems.
  • Strong systems thinking with an emphasis on end-to-end design and simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, remote startup environment with periods of focused, independent work.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable, but the role is centered on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links required as part of the application.
