Description

Design and implement full-stack applications using React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
Collaborate with scientists, laboratory operators, and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into production-ready software.
Contribute to architectural decisions, system design reviews, and sprint planning.
Build software that meets robustness, performance, and regulatory compliance standards.
Apply automated testing, CI/CD, version control, code review, and change management practices.
Integrate cloud computing solutions for data analysis, storage, and deployment.
Improve existing codebases through refactoring and feedback-driven iteration.
Participate in cross-functional work spanning assay development, lab automation, and commercial software products.

Requirements

8+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
Professional experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks for responsive UI development.
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments; Kubernetes is a plus.
Exposure to AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code review.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience interacting with end users to develop and refine UX requirements.
Preferred experience in regulated software environments such as ISO 13485 or IEC 62304.
Preferred familiarity with bioinformatics workflows, clinical lab processes, or NGS data handling.
Preferred background in data visualization, scientific computing, or computational biology.
