Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and balance integration and UX tradeoffs.
  • Reduce project scope where appropriate to gather faster customer feedback.
  • Deliver solutions through Speechify’s cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
  • Build and ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs in Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Experience with systems thinking and end-to-end design.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and operate effectively in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable but the role is Kotlin Multiplatform-focused.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links required with application.
  • Interest in working in a fast-growing product and infrastructure environment.
