Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and balance integration and UX tradeoffs.
  • Reduce project scope where possible to enable faster customer feedback.
  • Deliver solutions through a cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speed and parsing quality.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to enhance system performance.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and maintaining foundational services or SDKs for cross-platform products.
  • Strong systems thinking with an emphasis on end-to-end design and simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, evaluate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable but the role is Kotlin Multiplatform focused.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
  • Willingness to include portfolio and LinkedIn links when applying.
