Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope where possible to accelerate customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and user experience tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to optimize existing functionality.
  • Improve product performance through faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
  • Build and maintain cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Contribute to the foundational services and SDKs that support Speechify’s product experience across platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience designing systems with end-to-end thinking and a preference for simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time.
  • Comfort working in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Kotlin Multiplatform experience is preferred; Java experience is acceptable.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
  • Interest in working at the intersection of product and infrastructure.
