Description

Design and implement automated test frameworks for API and backend services.
Develop and execute test strategies for a microservices-based architecture.
Implement CI/CD quality gates and maintain visibility into test coverage.
Collaborate with developers to improve testability, observability, and performance.
Identify, document, and track defects and technical risks.
Continuously improve test automation and QA processes.
Support data platform reliability across collection, enrichment, and sharing workflows.
Work with the team to ensure consistency and observability across data pipelines.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot, including MVC, JDBC, and Security.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architecture, including Kafka.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP, and Kubernetes.
Understanding of RESTful API design and OpenAPI.
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and ELK Stack.
Experience working with microservices-based architectures.
Experience in QA/test automation for backend or API services.
Preferred experience with observability and performance-focused engineering.
