Description

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks for API and backend services.
  • Develop and execute test strategies for a microservices-based architecture.
  • Implement CI/CD quality gates and maintain visibility into test coverage.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve testability, observability, and performance.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and technical risks.
  • Continuously improve test automation and QA processes.
  • Support data platform reliability across collection, enrichment, and sharing workflows.
  • Work with the team to ensure consistency and observability across data pipelines.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot, including MVC, JDBC, and Security.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architecture, including Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and OpenAPI.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and ELK Stack.
  • Experience working with microservices-based architectures.
  • Experience in QA/test automation for backend or API services.
  • Preferred experience with observability and performance-focused engineering.
