Description

  • Design and maintain AWS infrastructure, networking, security controls, API hosting environments, monitoring tools, and scalability configurations.
  • Monitor and manage the operations, security, resources, and performance of EC2, containerized applications, and AWS services.
  • Implement AWS solutions ranging from load-balanced EC2 Auto Scaling groups to Lambda functions.
  • Execute infrastructure automation using CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Support AWS connectivity through Direct Connect and Site-to-Site VPNs and manage encryption with AWS KMS.
  • Maintain logging and observability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, DataDog, Kibana, and Elasticsearch.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Support production deployments and continuity of operations, targeting 100% uptime.
  • Manage AWS services including S3, Fargate, RDS, PostgreSQL, and other data services.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams on large Agile projects.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of application development, maintenance, or administration experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience maintaining AWS infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of experience with DevOps tools and supporting applications on AWS.
  • Experience with AWS Organizations, account design, VPCs, subnets, segmentation, and native cloud services.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with AWS S3, Fargate, RDS, PostgreSQL, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
  • Experience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, ANT, or Grunt.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; self-directed and able to lead or support as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, AWS certifications, eligibility for Public Trust clearance, and residence in the United States for 3 of the past 5 years.
  • CMS healthcare experience and large-scale cloud operations experience preferred.
