Description

  • Build, audit, and maintain programmatic pricing models for Distributed Capacity Procurement deals.
  • Update models as program economics, deal structures, and market conditions change.
  • Build bespoke financial models for deal structures outside existing templates.
  • Partner with Business Development, Program, and Project teams to source cost, revenue, timing, and financing assumptions.
  • Validate assumptions against source data and flag discrepancies before pricing outputs are issued.
  • Translate financial model outputs into clear terms for non-finance stakeholders and deal negotiations.
  • Deliver recurring modeling work on time and escalate risks to deadlines early.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial modeling, corporate finance, or a related quantitative role.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills, including building, auditing, and troubleshooting complex models from scratch.
  • Working knowledge of DCF analysis, capital stack construction, discount rates, and cost of capital.
  • Fluency with IRR, NPV, and other return metrics used to evaluate deal economics.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience validating assumptions across multiple sources.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain model outputs to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with project finance structures or energy asset modeling preferred.
  • Experience in infrastructure, energy, utility-facing businesses, or live deal negotiations preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $81,000–$125,000 annually; New York City range of $101,000–$125,000.
  • Potential eligibility for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation.
