Description

  • Drive complex silicon projects from kickoff through production.
  • Track and communicate schedules and milestones for front-end and back-end ASIC development tasks.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to enable fast bring-up of new silicon.
  • Collaborate with the silicon team and supply chain to identify suppliers for silicon development.
  • Lead discussions with internal and external teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Support silicon design, bring-up, qualification, and ramp-up to production activities.
  • Coordinate pre-silicon testing, wafer and package testing, packaging, reliability, and qualification efforts.
  • Work with PCB schematics and layout, as well as silicon software drivers and diagnostic scripts, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of technical project or program management experience.
  • Master’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
  • Experience leading satellite and/or consumer product lifecycle projects preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder communication across the company.
  • Knowledge of digital and/or analog/RF ASIC design processes from project kickoff to tape-out preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with external IP and EDA tool vendors preferred.
  • Experience working with advanced-node fabs, package substrate providers, and OSAT partners preferred.
  • Understanding of the steps required to go from engineering wafers to mass production preferred.
  • Project management experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar tools preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel when needed, typically less than 10%.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet critical deadlines.
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. State Department authorizations.

  • Base salary range of $175,000 to $280,000 per year.
