Description

  • Create and maintain project charters for technical implementation projects.
  • Negotiate project objectives, requirements, timelines, and success criteria with stakeholders.
  • Build project schedules and manage technical milestones through completion.
  • Lead project kickoff calls to define scope, expectations, deliverables, and communication plans.
  • Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders to execute projects successfully.
  • Manage complex technical implementations such as database mergers, migrations, EMR integrations, practice management system conversions, and large-scale data splits and exports.
  • Collaborate with Development, Product, Support, and Operations teams to deliver specialized technical solutions.
  • Review technical requirements and provide consultation during the pre-sales process to clarify scope, timelines, and solution needs.
  • Identify project risks, technical dependencies, and implementation challenges, and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain issue lists, manage escalations, and resolve implementation issues.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Establish communication schedules, conduct regular status touchpoints, and maintain project documentation.
  • Serve as the primary technical implementation contact for Customer Experience on complex client engagements.
  • Review project deliverables with stakeholders to confirm quality standards and project objectives are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of project management and related experience.
  • Assertive with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence behavior.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • 5 years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry, specifically software implementation, preferred.
  • Knowledge of or applicable experience in one of Nextech’s main medical specialties, preferred.
  • Remote role within the United States.
  • May require occasional after-hours and weekend work to support project milestones, system migrations, go-live activities, and client business needs.
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed, not to exceed 10%.
