Description

  • Directly manage a team of software engineers.
  • Own system roadmap prioritization, implementation, and delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership focused on continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on shared project goals.
  • Develop highly reliable and available software systems.
  • Maintain high standards of excellence and drive improvement beyond the status quo.
  • Collaborate with leaders across departments to ensure company-wide success.
  • Lead both technical execution and personnel development for the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a science discipline and 3+ years of software development experience, or 6+ years of professional software-building experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 1+ years of experience with object-oriented programming.
  • 1+ years of experience leading software teams or projects.
  • Programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java, or a similar object-oriented language.
  • Front-end experience with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience building single-page web applications.
  • Expertise in designing software systems, testing and infrastructure, and profiling/improving application performance.
  • Domain expertise in manufacturing systems is preferred.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed and be willing to travel when needed.
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorization.
