Description

  • Negotiate creative, flexible, and commercially effective deals with key suppliers and partners.
  • Align sourcing strategy with engineering, quality, and performance requirements across priority areas.
  • Track deal status, approvals, and execution risks to ensure timely and reliable supplier delivery.
  • Continuously improve, standardize, and scale sourcing processes, workflows, tools, and planning systems.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of exclusive and proprietary enterprise datasets.
  • Provide input on upcoming orders based on supplier capacity, quality, and pricing.
  • Maintain tight spend discipline by funding only datasets that materially improve model performance.
  • Set target pricing and analyze supplier spend, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Develop metrics for quality, delivery, and overall supplier performance.
  • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Background in hardware or product management, engineering, procurement, supply chain management, strategy and operations, or technology.
  • Self-starting and able to identify areas for improvement with minimal direction.
  • Experience managing technical or construction projects from beginning to end.
  • Ability to tackle complex and ambiguous problems.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience or interest in data analysis, data visualization, and/or financial analysis.
  • Must be willing to work long hours and occasional weekends when necessary to support launch and critical project timelines.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorization.

  • Base salary range of $140,000 to $190,000 per year.
