Description

  • Build, scale, and maintain robust data solutions.
  • Develop and optimize high-performance data pipelines for extraction, loading, transformation, and orchestration.
  • Design pipelines and systems for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and speed.
  • Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud-native deployments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to turn use cases into production-ready services and solutions.
  • Own data systems from concept through production delivery.
  • Implement rigorous testing and monitoring to maintain data quality and integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field, required.
  • Concentration in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or another engineering-related field, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Proficiency with Databricks/PySpark and dbt for data warehousing and transformation.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex data systems from the ground up.
  • Experience handling large-scale data projects, including data cleaning, ETL, and information retrieval.
  • Experience with large language models, especially prompt engineering, RAG, and/or vector databases, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, feature engineering, and knowledge graphs is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
