Description

  • Build and maintain high-quality native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Develop clean, scalable user interfaces aligned with Google’s Material Design guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with iOS, product, design, and QA teams.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, performance tuning, and scalability planning.
  • Integrate with backend APIs and ensure reliable data flow.
  • Take ownership of features from concept through deployment.
  • Stay current with Android development trends and new Android releases.
  • Write production code with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of native Android application development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development practices, including Jetpack, Compose, and Coroutines.
  • Solid understanding of backend APIs, authentication, and data persistence, including REST/GraphQL, Room, Realm, or SQLite.
  • Experience with Android system architecture, performance optimization, and scalability.
  • Hands-on experience with app deployment and distribution via Google Play.
  • Comfortable with Git workflows, testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and Robolectric, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Must be based in Brazil for this fully remote role.
  • Experience with large-scale consumer apps or high-impact user bases is a plus.
  • Knowledge of app security best practices, analytics, and observability tools is a plus.
