Description

  • Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead work across the full product lifecycle, from requirements gathering and scoping through implementation and deployment.
  • Break down and explain technical concepts clearly in client meetings and team discussions.
  • Move across front-end and back-end application layers as project needs evolve.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code guided by strong development principles.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, learn new stacks, and automate routine tasks.
  • Make independent technical decisions when requirements are ambiguous and communicate the reasoning behind them.
  • Balance delivery speed with system stability, quality, and deadlines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong foundation in core development principles such as OOP, functional programming, clean code, and architecture.
  • Experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, or Vue.js is a plus.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor as part of your workflow.
  • Ability to adapt to new stacks and shift technical focus between front-end, back-end, and other technologies.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with team members and client stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a tech-agnostic environment rather than specializing in one framework or language.
  • Experience working independently and taking ownership of outcomes.
  • Croatia-based candidates only; applicants from other countries will not be considered.
