Description

  • Lead applied AI projects from concept through prototype, validation, and deployment.
  • Act as an internal consultant for product, engineering, security, and research teams on ML/AI approaches.
  • Develop models for malicious behavior detection, anomaly detection, and fraud analysis.
  • Design experiments and evaluation pipelines to measure model reliability, accuracy, and business impact.
  • Translate research findings into scalable APIs, tools, or workflows.
  • Explore and apply LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows.
  • Communicate technical recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor peers and help improve the organization’s AI literacy and capabilities.
  • Partner with data governance to support privacy compliance and ethical use of customer data.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in applied data science, machine learning, AI engineering, or AI research.
  • Computer Science or equivalent technical degree strongly preferred.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with tools such as Databricks, LLM APIs, and scikit-learn.
  • Experience building and shipping ML or GenAI applications from prototype to usable workflows.
  • Deep familiarity with LLM ecosystems including OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Hugging Face, and open-weight models.
  • Ability to design LLM applications using prompting, context management, structured outputs, retrieval, and tool use.
  • Experience with agentic or multi-step AI workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong evaluation mindset with experience defining metrics, building evaluation datasets, and assessing reliability.
  • Comfort working with large, messy, structured, and unstructured data.
  • Proficiency with Git, testing, code review, and collaborative software development practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical partners.
  • MLOps experience with MLflow or similar tooling, CI/CD, serving, monitoring, and reproducible pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience operating ML or GenAI systems at scale, including observability, tracing, incident response, and drift detection (preferred).
  • Experience with Databricks ML, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or similar managed ML platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with MCP, agent-tool integrations, LLM guardrails, and production safety practices (preferred).
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex (preferred).
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, fraud detection, anomaly detection, code analysis, or software supply-chain security (preferred).
  • Experience with PySpark and production data pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience working in a software product company or SaaS environment (preferred).
