Description

  • Lead the execution of a large-scale website redesign from discovery through deployment.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and detailed plans that account for technical dependencies and resource allocation.
  • Oversee design and development phases to ensure code quality and alignment with design intent.
  • Act as the primary liaison between web design, web strategy, engineering, product marketing, and product teams.
  • Use knowledge of WordPress and HTML/CSS to troubleshoot layout issues, audit implementation, and streamline developer handoffs.
  • Coordinate work on design system implementation in Figma to support consistency and scalability across platforms.
  • Manage interactive front-end work, including animations and dynamic UI components.
  • Support implementation of API connections, CMS customizations, and martech tool integrations.
  • Organize workflow, prioritize backlogs, and help resolve blockers across cross-functional partners.
  • Provide status updates and communicate project health, technical challenges, and roadmap dependencies to executive leadership.
  • Assist with quality assurance as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years managing high-stakes interactive, digital, or web development projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and web architecture.
  • Comfort inspecting code and understanding how front-end frameworks affect site performance.
  • Expert proficiency with project management tools such as Jira or Workfront.
  • In-depth familiarity with Figma as the source of truth for design assets.
  • Deep understanding of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Contentful, or Webflow, including custom themes, plugin architecture, and content modeling.
  • Direct experience managing projects involving animation tools such as Lottie or Rive.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs or AI-driven tools such as Claude Code.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable project milestones for non-technical stakeholders.
  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant Agile certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with JavaScript basics or modern front-end libraries is preferred.
  • Background in a fast-paced agency or fintech environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ADA/accessibility compliance standards for the web is preferred.
