Description

  • Partner with BCG leadership to define the AI solutions vision and roadmap for 1LOD risk and controls.
  • Identify and implement AI opportunities that improve risk and control processes, with an initial focus on control testing and business controls reporting.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions such as LLM-based agents, automated evidence analysis tools, and intelligent workflow tools.
  • Manage the end-to-end AI product lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering through testing, launch, and post-launch optimization.
  • Collaborate with business controls, risk, technology, and enterprise AI/platform teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
  • Provide training, documentation, and hands-on support to help risk professionals adopt AI tools.
  • Define KPIs and metrics for AI solutions, monitor performance after launch, and iterate based on insights.
  • Create and maintain dashboards that communicate initiative progress, adoption, and impact to leadership.
  • Manage end-to-end Generative AI and Responsible AI governance, including documentation, validation, monitoring, explainability, and policy adherence.
  • Serve as technical lead for the Business Controls AI Engineering function and integrate AI/ML tools and enterprise data solutions within governance guardrails.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, controls, compliance, or technology roles.
  • 3+ years focused on AI/ML products, applied AI solutions, or AI-driven process transformation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience defining, launching, and scaling AI solutions in ambiguous or emerging domains.
  • Experience at a senior individual contributor level or equivalent in a regulated organization, preferably financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial services, including 1LOD risk management, control testing, and business controls operations.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts including LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, supervised/unsupervised learning, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
  • Understanding of data governance, data pipelines, and MLOps principles.
  • Strong communication and executive stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non-experts.
  • Experience with regulatory expectations, model governance, and risk management in banking or financial services.
  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action and delivery.
  • Experience with Snowflake, dbt, or other modern data platform tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with LLM tooling, RAG systems, AI agent frameworks, or AI-assisted data workflows (preferred).
  • Financial services experience across Credit, Fraud, Collections, or Operational Risk (preferred).
  • Experience with GRC platforms and control testing methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience implementing AI governance frameworks at scale (preferred).
  • AWS experience with S3, Glue, Lambda, and infrastructure-as-code familiarity (preferred).
