Description

  • Build and maintain a container-based infrastructure that is scalable, redundant, compliant, and reliable.
  • Support end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in a secure and reproducible manner.
  • Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with developers and other teams to improve scalability, reliability, security, and operational effectiveness.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Write custom scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Evaluate application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
  • Maintain security program controls and support HIPAA-compliant systems.
  • Participate in on-call PagerDuty rotations and help ensure high availability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience deploying and monitoring web applications in AWS.
  • Experience working with product and operations teams to support DevOps practices.
  • Security-first mindset with experience building secure development and test environments integrated into CI/CD pipelines and release cycles.
  • Experience building and maintaining container-based infrastructure and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform experience preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, and logging.
  • Experience fully automating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with data privacy requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA preferred.
  • Experience managing SQL and NoSQL databases such as Redis, Redshift, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
  • Strong scripting skills in shell, Perl, Ruby, Python, Go, Groovy, Helm, or similar tools.
