Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of benefit configuration specialists.
  • Oversee the build, testing, documentation, and maintenance of pharmacy benefit plans across multiple platforms.
  • Manage employee performance using scorecards and performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, direction, and support to team members.
  • Schedule employees, track productivity, and approve time off and overtime.
  • Drive process and workflow improvements by adopting new system capabilities and best practices.
  • Work with clients to identify and understand benefit plan requirements.
  • Maintain benefit plan organization, structure, and data integrity across accounts.
  • Support team members with escalations and complex configuration requests.
  • Communicate project status to leadership and escalate issues when needed.
  • Ensure timely review and resolution of inquiries from internal teams to improve member experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a leadership role with direct reports, preferably in a remote setting.
  • 8+ years of experience with pharmacy benefits, benefit configuration, healthcare benefits, and/or claims processing.
  • Experience with document management practices preferred.
  • Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate conflict and foster honest dialogue.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members through day-to-day and long-term challenges.
  • Ability to take initiative with little to no direction.
  • Strong focus on operational excellence and process improvement.
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
