Description

  • Drive discussions with clients to resolve operational issues and client relation matters promptly.
  • Lead strategic reviews that connect technical delivery to client business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client business leaders in Claims, Quality, and Member Experience.
  • Monitor contract scope, validate needs, and convert new work into change orders when appropriate to protect profit and loss.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to manage billable hours and avoid over-servicing.
  • Partner with Sales to identify, qualify, cross-sell, and upsell expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Lead the contract renewal process and support high Net Promoter Score performance across the payer sector.
  • Provide regular reporting and account health analysis to leadership.
  • Gather market and field intelligence to ensure solutions remain market-fit and inform product evolution.
  • Stay current on industry and market trends to support client discussions and product development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, product management, or equivalent work with or for payers (health plans).
  • 1+ years of people leadership or people management experience, preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously, drive results, and assess complex matters to escalate appropriately.
  • Understanding of regulatory bodies such as CMS and their business impact on payer organizations.
  • Functional knowledge of healthcare interoperability and FHIR standards.
  • Experience leading Executive Business Reviews (QBRs) focused on strategic business value, not just technical status updates.
