Description

  • Identify, build, and demonstrate Smartsheet solutions that address specific customer problems.
  • Lead technical sales engagements and provide technical guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify customer requirements, summarize challenges, and design solutions.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to uncover business processes and challenges that inform the sales strategy.
  • Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services to improve the customer experience and support revenue growth.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Smartsheet products, services, and competitors.
  • Participate in cross-functional and department-wide projects supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to Product teams to ensure solutions continue to align with customer needs.
  • Travel periodically to customer sites as a technical subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience as a PreSales Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solution Architect, or in a related role within SaaS or enterprise B2B software.
  • Critical thinking skills, a growth mindset, and experience analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing complex problems.
  • Experience leveraging and positioning AI during sales cycles.
  • Proven track record of selling into multiple lines of business.
  • Strong technical skills and comfort working in ambiguous and high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and their practical business applications.
  • Remote work capability from any registered U.S. location (role-specific).
