Description

  • Design, build, and maintain customizations and extensions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL.
  • Support ERP implementation projects from requirements and configuration through development, testing, and go-live support.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central and third-party systems or APIs, including Power Platform where relevant.
  • Assist with upgrades and migrations from Dynamics NAV to Business Central.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues raised by clients.
  • Produce clear technical documentation for development and configuration work.
  • Work closely with consultants and project leads across multiple concurrent client engagements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or Dynamics NAV with recent Business Central transition experience.
  • Strong proficiency in AL and the Business Central / VS Code development environment.
  • Solid understanding of Business Central data structures, tables, pages, and extension architecture.
  • Experience with API-based and third-party system integrations.
  • Comfortable working directly with external clients in a consultancy delivery environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English for daily collaboration with Ireland/UK-based teams and clients.
  • Able to remain responsive on Slack/Teams during Irish/UK working hours and build long-term client relationships.
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, is preferred.
  • Prior experience in construction, professional services, or project-based client sectors is preferred.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification(s) are preferred.
  • Experience migrating clients from legacy Dynamics NAV versions is preferred.
