Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central customizations and extensions using AL.
  • Support the full ERP implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and configuration through development, testing, and go-live support.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Business Central, third-party applications, APIs, and Power Platform tools.
  • Support Dynamics NAV to Business Central upgrades and migrations.
  • Investigate and resolve technical and functional issues for client organizations.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for custom development and system configuration.
  • Collaborate with consultants and project leads across multiple client projects.
  • Build lasting working relationships with clients and contribute to long-term project success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development experience, or Dynamics NAV experience with recent Business Central transition experience.
  • Strong proficiency in AL and the Business Central/VS Code development environment.
  • Solid understanding of Business Central data structures, tables, pages, and extension architecture.
  • Experience with API-based and third-party system integrations.
  • Experience working directly with external clients in a consultancy delivery environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English for collaboration with UK- and Ireland-based teams and clients.
  • Availability and responsiveness during Irish/UK working hours via Slack or Teams.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps is preferred.
  • Experience in construction, professional services, or project-based client sectors is preferred.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications and legacy Dynamics NAV migration experience are preferred.
