Description

  • Own the technical and functional win in B2B sales cycles.
  • Partner with corporate sales, product teams, success management, and professional services on sales pursuits.
  • Support a handful of account executives across multiple product lines.
  • Spend 50-70% of time on revenue-generating deals and the rest on internal projects, learning, and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Assist with discovery to identify quantifiable customer problems the solutions can solve.
  • Demonstrate, workshop, and position products and platforms to show business value and desired outcomes.
  • Lead scoping and execution of validation events when appropriate.
  • Own technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and infosec requests.
  • Maintain sales systems of record such as Salesforce and SharePoint with presales notes and collateral.
  • Contribute best practices and content to broader presales and sales teams.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with or hands-on experience using the Smarsh suite of products, or 1-2 years of solution engineering experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate products in a way that sells value aligned to client business objectives and pain points.
  • Domain knowledge of the compliance or IT space.
  • Strong presentation skills for both executives and practitioners.
  • Knowledge of compliance business processes and workflows, including capture, archive, and surveillance use cases.
  • Industry knowledge of Financial Services and/or FED SLED is highly desired.
  • Experience with Solution Selling, Demo2Win, and MEDDIC/MEDDPICC.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with high accountability and initiative.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience.
  • Experience in SaaS is a plus.
