Description

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the federal Department of War market.
  • Build, cultivate, and mature relationships with channels, partners, and contracting vehicles that support Smarsh sales.
  • Manage opportunities from identification through proposal development, award, and close.
  • Refine and execute capture plan strategies and participate in business development meetings.
  • Work with executive leadership to shape and execute Department of Defense and federal growth strategies.
  • Develop business development and sales call plans for target agencies and program managers.
  • Build proposals and initiate sales momentum with prospective customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop industry relationships and represent Smarsh at industry events.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support capture and proposal efforts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and performance goals.

Requirements

  • Prior successful track record meeting sales quotas and acquiring new logos.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the federal sales cycle and procurement processes.
  • Proven experience selling as an individual contributor and growing revenue in the federal public sector.
  • Experience developing and selling solutions and executing strategic campaigns.
  • Experience with software, IT, or mobile sales is preferred.
  • Experience establishing and growing relationships through software channels is preferred.
  • Experience building and maintaining high-level relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new customers.
  • BA/BS degree is preferred.

Benefits

  • Remote full-time work arrangement.
  • Base salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
  • Bonus programs available, to be discussed during the recruiting process.
  • Compensation reviewed based on internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty, and training.
