Description

  • Support a team working on Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) projects to help improve care and reduce costs for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.
  • Write, test, and maintain code in Python, R, and SQL.
  • Create and improve user training documentation and technical documentation.
  • Stress-test software and perform system and user acceptance testing for new builds.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for web-based analytical tools.
  • Develop smarter system configurations and example programs, including with approved AI tools.
  • Partner with project managers, system architects, database administrators, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver projects.
  • Train end users on new applications and features.
  • Lead or participate in customer-facing webinars.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and help users through system transitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, data science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with software applications in a corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with secure data environments; government or healthcare IT experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience formatting and structuring Microsoft Word documents.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing software issues.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexible, curious mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools.
  • Experience with CMS or Medicare/Medicaid data is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
