Description

  • Administer Oracle RDBMS installation, configuration, hardening, security controls, tablespaces, and data integrity.
  • Install and manage Oracle middleware, application processes, security hardening, and SSL certificates.
  • Monitor and tune database performance, system availability, capacity, and nightly batch processing.
  • Execute encrypted backups, restores, instance overlays, off-site transfers, and media access controls.
  • Plan and operate disaster recovery and continuity of operations, including synchronization, recovery, and annual testing.
  • Manage database environments across Development, QA/Test, UAT, Training, COOP/DR, and Production.
  • Follow SDLC and Change Control Board processes and prepare production deployment plans.
  • Produce monthly metrics, patch compliance reports, technical status reports, inventories, and annual outage calendars.
  • Serve as the production escalation point for database incidents affecting payment runs or closing deadlines.

Requirements

  • 9 years of progressive database administration experience, including 6 years administering Oracle E-Business Suite in production.
  • Experience administering Oracle RDBMS, middleware, performance, backups, disaster recovery, and multi-instance environments.
  • Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, FISMA, and DISA STIGs for database and middleware hardening.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience with documented SDLC and Change Control Board processes.
  • Federal financial systems DBA experience at CFO Act agencies (preferred).
  • Experience with Oracle Federal Financials modules and related end-to-end financial processes (preferred).
  • Experience with Tungsten MarkView, Capture, Oracle Payables, PIV-card SSO with Microsoft Azure, REST APIs, and ReactJS (preferred).
  • Experience supporting federal financial interfaces, automation and scripting, and SAN monitoring/configuration (preferred).
