Description

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise databases and structured data systems.
  • Create and manage data models, schemas, dictionaries, and standards across systems.
  • Conduct data quality checks, validation routines, and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Design data ingestion, transformation, and lifecycle-management processes.
  • Perform analytical modeling, scenario analysis, forecasting, and risk assessments.
  • Develop scripts, tools, and automated workflows that streamline processing and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate data capabilities, recommend improvements, and support technical integrations.
  • Provide expertise on enterprise data management practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Proficiency in database architecture, SQL, and structured data environments.
  • Experience developing and maintaining large-scale data models and metadata frameworks.
  • Expertise in data governance, data quality assurance, and standardized data practices.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data engineering, analytics, and scientific computing.
  • Experience with ETL pipelines, data validation tools, and automated data workflows.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and develop models that support organizational strategy.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Four years of experience with Navy data systems (preferred).
  • Experience with Navy systems such as eProjects, ieFACMAN, or iNFADS (preferred).
