Description

  • Design and develop Android mobile applications using Android Studio, Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and Gradle.
  • Manage the Android app release cycle on Google Play.
  • Translate UI/UX requirements and mockups into functional, high-performance Android apps.
  • Integrate web services to support interactive service flows.
  • Work independently on e-commerce software and related technology with minimal oversight.
  • Influence standards, tools, conventions, and design patterns when changes are needed.
  • Write self-documenting code and clearly communicate design intent through comments, documentation, and code reviews.
  • Write unit and integration tests for deliverables and help prevent and fix bugs or design issues.
  • Collaborate with QA to define testing tasks, approach, and standards.
  • Solve mobile-specific challenges such as synchronization, asynchronous APIs, and offline device capabilities.

Requirements

  • High proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience delivering React Native applications.
  • Experience consuming REST and SOAP web services and parsing JSON and XML content using Java and Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented software design patterns and debugging.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills with the ability to lead issue resolution independently or with a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially around software engineering fundamentals, testing methodologies, and quality.
  • Deep curiosity to learn new technologies, explore new ideas, and implement them.
