Description

  • Build and manage the game studio sales pipeline from lead generation through partnership close.
  • Secure exclusive POGS partnerships where Shockbyte becomes the primary server host.
  • Drive adoption of Shockbyte for Game Studios across new and existing studio partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners until account managers are onboarded.
  • Represent Shockbyte at global gaming events such as GDC and Gamescom, including meetings and demos.
  • Manage contracts and agreements with game studios and other external partners.
  • Deliver professional presentations, proposals, and demos to executives and developers.
  • Nurture long-term partner relationships and support ongoing account growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, ideally in gaming or technology.
  • Familiarity with the gaming industry and industry events such as GDC or Gamescom.
  • Outgoing and personable, with comfort handling constant networking and back-to-back meetings.
  • Skilled in presentations, demos, and closing deals.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to independently build and maintain a structured sales pipeline.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage travel, meetings, and follow-ups effectively.
  • Experience with media relations or PR is preferred.
  • Background in SaaS, cloud, or server infrastructure is preferred.
  • An existing network of gaming industry contacts is preferred.
  • Multilingual communication skills are preferred.
