Description

  • Creatively connect with potential customers from self-sourced outreach and pre-vetted leads to assess merchant goals and determine mutual fit.
  • Work with a Sales Engineer to construct full-stack solutions for potential customers.
  • Partner with pricing and analytics teams to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining positive margins.
  • Identify customer business nuances and advise on partners and integrations that improve the ShipBob partnership and business efficiency.
  • Follow the Mid-Market sales process and adapt to process iterations as the business evolves.
  • Move customers efficiently through the sales process while setting and aligning expectations.
  • Negotiate contract terms and general partnership agreements.
  • Maintain an updated, clean, and thorough pipeline with accurate CRM notes to support forecasting and account visibility.
  • Provide feedback to management to improve the sales process and merchant experience.
  • Facilitate proper handoff to the post-sales team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Account Executive experience with a consistent track record of net-new logo acquisition.
  • Experience closing complex deals with average deal sizes of $500K–$1M+ ARR.
  • Experience navigating 6–12 month sales cycles with multi-stakeholder buying committees, including C-suite economic buyers.
  • A defined, repeatable sales methodology such as MEDDIC, Sandler, Challenger, or equivalent.
  • Background in logistics, 3PL, supply chain, e-commerce, or adjacent industries is highly preferred.
  • Ability to build and present a strategic business case.
  • Excellent CRM hygiene and forecasting discipline.
  • Comfort working remotely in one of the eligible U.S. states listed in the posting.
