Description

  • Directly lead and manage a team of Patient Engagement team members to support timely and accurate refill coordination for patients.
  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery for assigned hospitals and/or clinics to help ensure medications are received on time.
  • Monitor service level goals and contract requirements to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Manage team administrative processes, including ADP, PTO, and time reports.
  • Conduct audits and monitor activity in supported systems to improve workflow efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Provide front-line supervision, coaching, performance management, and employee development for the team.
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration with clinical teams, on-site hospital management, and other internal teams.
  • Facilitate team and hospital management meetings, including agendas, follow-ups, and status reviews.
  • Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, access requests, and training coordination for new team members.
  • Support overflow work, special projects, after-hours coverage, and occasional weekend coverage during high-volume periods.

Requirements

  • State registration as a pharmacy technician is required.
  • National certification as a CPhT or equivalent is required.
  • If state registration is unavailable in the candidate’s state of residence, national certification is required at time of hire and any additional licensure must be obtained within a mutually agreed timeframe.
  • 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience is required; 3-5+ years in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience is strongly preferred, such as Regional Team Lead or equivalent experience leading other team members.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or active progress toward a degree is preferred.
  • Training in leadership and management theory and its practical workplace application is preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and operational management skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, is required; advanced Excel abilities including basic formulas, data manipulation, and graph creation are preferred.
  • Experience with pharmacy dispensing or EMR systems is preferred; Willow, Qs1, and RX30 experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to once per quarter if needed is required.
