Description

  • Lead daily operations of outreach teams and ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement scalable operational strategies to support continued growth.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions with regional and senior leaders to solve problems and improve operations.
  • Monitor budgets and operational performance targets while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
  • Drive continuous process improvement by assessing workflows and implementing best practices.
  • Provide leadership training, succession planning, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, and outreach staff.
  • Manage conflict resolution and guide teams through operational challenges and disruptions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with hospital and clinic leadership to support partner satisfaction.
  • Partner with analytics and functional teams to evaluate metrics, execute improvement initiatives, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Create and track KPIs and lead projects that leverage technology and automation to improve patient support operations.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and proper handling of sensitive patient and company data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations and/or pharmacy operations.
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale operations teams of 50+ team members is highly preferred.
  • Experience developing processes, process mapping, and process improvement.
  • Strong background in specialty pharmacy operations is highly preferred.
  • Experience with specialty refill management, benefits investigations, and patient financial assistance is highly preferred.
  • Prior contact center operations experience or similar experience is helpful but not required.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or MHA is preferred but not required.
  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy is a plus, and state certification is not necessary.
  • Ability to manage complex operations with limited direct oversight and drive strategic initiatives.
